100 mg, 20% gingerols
Ginger has been well known for centuries for fighting inflammation. Now, research has established ginger (and ginger tea) as an anti-inflammatory and pain reduction for arthritis, muscle inflammation, myalgia and rheumatism. Some studies have even shown it to be more effective than common NSAIDS, such as aspirin.
One 2005 study even suggests that ginger could reduce pain and inflammation more effectively than non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. A 1992 study conducted at Odense University in Denmark found a full 75% of the participants stated that they experienced “substantial relief” after supplementation.
The active constituents in this regard are gingerols (oleo-resins), which inhibit the cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes. We use 20% gingerols – vs. the 5% – 10% commonly used.
